I received an email about errors in my submitted Form W-9. What can I do to correct these errors?

If you received an email stating that there are errors with your Form W-9 submission, please access your new secure TaxBandits link via the link in the error notification email. The most common Form W-9 submission errors are as follows:

1. Verify the Name and TIN Type: Double-check that your name and TIN type (e.g., SSN, ITIN, EIN) match exactly with what is reported on the IRS records. Even small discrepancies can cause a mismatch.
2. Formatting: Ensure the TIN format is valid.
3. Ensure Accuracy: Confirm that the TIN has been entered correctly.
4. Address Validity: Ensure that your address is accurate and formatted correctly. Selecting a USPS Verified Address in your Form W-9 Submission process will help ensure that your address is in the correct format.
